Amanda L. MacGee, Esq.

Vice President, Estate Settlement and Fiduciary Officer

Amanda is responsible for the oversight of the estate settlement team at Washington Trust Wealth Management. In this role, Amanda reviews estate and probate documents, leads the administration of estates for which Washington Trust is the personal representative, and assists in creating and carrying out the best practices for trust and estate administration.

EXPERIENCE

Amanda has more than 10 years of experience in the legal and financial industries. Amanda has previously served as an estate planning attorney focusing on estate and trust administration with several local and regional law firms. Prior to joining Washington Trust, Amanda served as Vice President, Relationship Manager with Cambridge Trust, based in Boston. Amanda is a licensed attorney in Massachusetts, and is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the New Hampshire Bar Association.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

Amanda holds a Juris Doctorate from New England Law, and a bachelor’s degree from Franklin Pierce College.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

A Rhode Island resident, Amanda is actively involved in her community. She is currently a Director and volunteer with the Franklin Pierce University Alumni Board of Directors, and is an avid supporter of PAWS Chicago (as a former Marathon Team Member and Fundraiser), the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
