Valentine oversees the administration and management of trust and investment relationships at Washington Trust Wealth Management, including legacy and special needs trusts, retirement accounts, and high-net-worth clients. She is passionate about helping individuals and families navigate complex trust structures and estate settlements with confidence and care and works closely with clients to develop tailored strategies that align with their financial goals and legacy planning needs. Her philosophy centers on building lasting relationships and delivering thoughtful, client-focused solutions that honor each family’s unique goals and values.
Valentine brings over five years of fiduciary management experience and a strong legal background to her role. Before entering the trust and estate field, she practiced criminal and care & protection law in Massachusetts—first as a public defender representing children and families in cases involving the Department of Children and Families, and later as an assistant district attorney in Plymouth County. Valentine is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts.
Valentine earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a Social Work minor from Bridgewater State University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Massachusetts School of Law, where she was a Law Review editor and co-founded the Environmental Law Society.
Valentine is an active member of the Rhode Island Estate Planning Council.
