Carson is responsible for setting client service standards, improving client experience, and driving strategies designed to foster and enhance our client-centric culture at Washington Trust Wealth Management. In his role, he leads initiatives to enhance the client journey and leveraging technology to streamline processes while ensuring personal relationships remain at the core of every interaction. Carson works closely with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions, develop best-in-class service standards, and create scalable processes to support both clients and colleagues.
Carson has more than 25 years of experience in the financial and private wealth management industries, with extensive expertise in sales, leadership development, customer service, and systems enhancement and integration. He brings a deep understanding of how strong partnerships and aligned goals among service, operations, and sales teams can deliver an exceptional client experience. Prior to joining Washington Trust Wealth Management, Carson held leadership positions at JP Morgan Advisors, where he served as Vice President, Client Service Manager, and First Republic Bank’s Private Wealth Management division, where he served as Director of Client Service.
Carson holds a bachelor’s degree from Fairfield University, and several FINRA Professional Licenses including SIE, and Series 7, 9, 10, 63 and 65.
A Connecticut resident, Carson is active in the communities Washington Trust serves, including serving as a volunteer with Streetwise Partners and Commodore of the Sprite Island Yacht Club. He is also a licensed Charter Boat Captain.
