Joanne is responsible for the administration of decedent estates, trusts of high-net-worth clients, and helps to manage not-for-profit relationships at Washington Trust Wealth Management.

Experience

Joanne has more than 30 years of experience in the wealth management industry. She has extensive expertise in trust and estate services, gathered from her positions with various local, regional and national financial institutions. Prior to joining Washington Trust, she served as Trusts and Estates Manager at Brown University.

Education

Joanne holds the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor designation. She also holds a master’s and bachelor’s degree from Providence College. Joanne is also a graduate of the ABA National Graduate Trust School and the New England School of Banking.

Community Involvement

A Rhode Island resident, Joanne is active in her community. She currently serves as a member of the President’s Council at Providence College, the Secretary of the Advisory Board of the Catholic Foundation of RI, a member of the Investment Advisory Committee for the Catholic Diocese of Providence, on the Finance Council for St. John Vianney Church, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Estate Planning Council of RI where she also chairs the Program Planning Committee. She previously served as President of the Board for the Partnership of Philanthropic Planning of RI, President of the National Alumni Association Council for Providence College, and past co-chair of the Catholic Charities Fund Appeal for RI.
